Unity Friday Friends With Flair


Just a quick post today as I'm getting ready for my first {Ippity} home gathering and workshop tomorrow! I'm so excited!!

My card today for Unity's Friday Friends with Flair uses Unity's Love Bug set. Products used: BoBunny dp, SU cs, copic markers, Unity Noir and Burnt Umber inks, Nestablities, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Martha Stewart border punch and u/k heart brads.

Monday {Ippity} Hippity Hop

Happy {Ippity} Monday everyone! Today I have two cards to share with you. Both of my cards were inspired by this week's Ippity IHHC7 challenge - to use black, a neutral and one colour.


My first card uses Ippity's Because of You set. Products used: Nestabilities, SU cs and punches, Versamark, Ippity Noir ink, Stampendeous embossing powder, u/k button and twine and Stickles.



My second card uses Ippity's Devoted and Just Wanted to Say sets. Products used: SU and Bazzill cs, SU punches and ribbon, u/k eyelets, machine stitching, Versamark, Stampendeous embossing powder and Stickles.

My card for today uses one of Unity's new sets Pirate Madness. I've been making so many girly and Valentine cards lately that it was a nice change to make a masculine card for today. I picked this set up when Unity had its 10 for $10.00 sale. Products used: SU kraft cs, u/k dp and twine, Copic markers, Tim Holtz Distress ink, Versamark, Stampendous embossing powder and drywall tape.

Scraptivity Online Crop!



Scraptivity is having a week-long Online Crop starting this Friday!


The winter CHA show starts this weekend, so Scraptivity is having an Online Crop to help you use your supplies and make room for all the new goodies which will be released at CHA.


Come and join us on Friday, January 22nd as we launch our CHA Online Crop. We will have multiple challenges posted throughout the day on the 22nd. Then, more challenges will come up during CHA to be posted Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The crop will run until Friday, January 29th, so don't worry if you can't join in on a certain day.

Monday {Ippity}Hippity Hop



Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend!

My first card for today's hop uses Ippity's Because of you and Just Wanted To Say. I love how simple and cute this card turned out. I paper pieced and popped up the flowers for added dimension. Extra products used: SU cs, punches and ribbon, Ippity's Burnt Umber Hybrid ink, u/k brad and staples.



On my second card, I used Get Sketchy's Sketch #21 and Ippity's Because of you set and the My Mind's Eye paper pack. The red ink is Ippity's Moulin Rouge ink and I must say that I love this ink! It is such a gorgeous colour and so nice to work with. Don't you think those little mushrooms are too stinkin cute? Extra products used: Bazzill cs, Maya Road stick pin, Making Memories felt Butterfly, glossy accents, SU ink, u/k eyelet and Ippity's Burnt Umber ink.



My third card uses Ippity's Simply Home set. I tried to make this one with a country/rustic feel to it. Extra products used: Bazzill and SU cs, cardboard, Memento ink, copic markers, Twine, u/k eyelet and Ippity's Burnt Umber ink.

Get Sketchy #21



Here's my take on this week's Get Sketchy sketch #21. I used Ippity's Because of You set and the My Mind's Paper Pack which is also from Ippity. I also used the new Moulin Rouge Hybrid ink from Ippity and I must say, I absolutely love it! Extra products: SU and Bazzill cs, Glossy Accents, Ippity Burnt Umber ink, SU ink, Maya Road stick pin and Making Memories felt butterfly.

Unity Friday Friends With Flair

Happy Friday!!! Today I have two cards to share with you for this week's FWF.



My first card uses Unity's October /09 Store KOTM. I just love this cute little coffee image! I kept this card clean and simple. The buttons I added kind of remind me of coffee beans! Products used: Bazzill cs, Memento and Unity inks, Nestablities, copic markers and u/k buttons.




My second card uses Ippity's Devoted and Just Wanted to Say sets. I'm really happy with how this one turned out -simple yet elegant! Products used: SU cs, Fiskars border punch, Versamark and Distress inks, Whispers copper embossing powder, u/k ribbon and heart pendant, u/k bling, DMC floss and Basic Grey dp.

Fashionista



Here's my take on this week's Sketchy Thursday's sketch. What a fun sketch to work with! I love getting out my messy supplies LOL! Products used: Ippity's Life's Little Moments set, Bazzill cs, Rose Mocha sticker letters, Glimmer Mist, MM paint, Petaloo felt flowers, AC puffy swirl stickers, Heidi Swapp bling, staples and misc. fabric scraps!

Journaling reads: Alexandra loves to dress herself every morning. Although she rarely matches, still looks absolutely adorable! January 12th /10".

Monday {Ippity} Hippity Hop

Don't ya just love the Monday {Ippity} Hippity Hop? I know I look forward to seeing all of the awesome creations created with Ippity stamps!



My first card uses Ippity's Because of You set. Inspiration for this card came from the wonderful second chance sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays! I used Bazzill cs, Basic Grey dp, Prima Bling, DMC floss, Versamark and Unity inks and Stampendous embossing powder.



My second card uses Ippity's Life's Little Moments set and the Be Loved My Minds Eye paper packet. Bazzil cs, Memento and Versamark inks and Stampendeous embossing powder. I added some embossed score lines to finish up this CAS card.

The title was cut from my Slice using the Wedding design card.
I love how the hidden journaling tag fits inside the coin envelope perfectly. Journaling reads: "Alexandra had such a great time for her first New Year's Eve celebration. We took her and her Nanny out with us for awhile to the New Year's Eve party at the Radisson. Eveyone had a great time, especially our little Alexandra! Almost 9 months old - December 31st, 2006".
