Things With Wings Whimsical Art Dolls

I recently took an online art course at Willowing called Things With Wings! The class was super fun, the instructors Brianne and Anita are FANTASTIC and the dolls are adorable and come together easy with all of the awesome video tutorials, pdf's and instructions.

I made all 3 dolls, the Bee, Butterfly and Dragonfly. My 2 girls Alexandra and Isabella have already claimed these dolls and have their orders in for another set so they each have one of each doll.

Willowing is such a fun and inspiring place! Tam even featured me and my dolls this month on the site (Front page whoohoo) and Anita, one of the Things With Wings instructors has posted an article on her blog featuring my dolls! Thank you ladies! These are the first dolls I have ever made and am so thrilled and honoured to receive such wonderful feedback from everyone!

Here's another page in my Art Journal I played around with yesterday. I just received some new stamps from Unity - Donna Downey's Be Still Watercolor Kit and Donna Poppy Background. I used my new Kai Watercolors, Shiva Oil Art sticks, some Acrylic paint, Staz-On ink and my date stamp. I love how soft my page turned out! These images would look so gorgeous on a layout!

Here is my first She Art Girl mixed media canvas! I just love how she turned out! I've definitely found a new addiction and can't wait to start on my next girl!

I had some time last weekend to play around with the new Stamping Bella stamps I picked up while I was in Toronto on Thursday. I decided to play in my Art Journal.

The stamps I used are the new Isabelle Norris Eclectic line of stamps that Stamping Bella released for April. I just love how cool they are! I also used some of my new Claudine Hellmuth paint I picked up at the store too! I LOVE, LOVE that stuff!

I have to say that my family and I absolutely LOVE it!!! On grocery shopping day (Saturday) we now plan our meals for the week so it makes grocery shopping at lot easier! I never pre-planned my meals for the entire week (I don't know why I didn't lol) and this makes life so much easier! The kids enjoy helping plan what meals we're going to have on what day!

It was super easy to put up and so easy to clean - just wipe with a damp cloth and you're all set to plan your meals for the week!

Today I'm sharing the adorable Valentine treat bags I made with my 4 yr old Alexandra which she will be taking to school with her today for her classmates! We made a total of 15 bags! We're not allowed to send baked goods (due to peanut allergies in her class) so the bags are filled with pencils, Play Do, candies and peanut-free smarties! I used some SU ribbon, cs, CM punches and one sheet of the sweet E.A.D. Designs Valentine Garden Stickerz!
