I didn't get a chance to prepare a new card this week because my little Alexandra had the flu this week and kept me pretty busy!  I'm sharing a birthday card I prepared not too long ago using the adorable Natalie Birthday Fairy!  Natalie was previously released only in digital format but after many requests, she is now available in rubber as well! I'm also using the "Surprise " sentiment which was free with any new May release purchase!

Art, Heart & Healing

Here's my completed journal page for lesson 1 of Willowing's Art, Heart & Healing online course. This is a free-online course which I just recently took that began last October.

I must say I'm quite pleased how the portrait and entire page turned out considering this was my 1st portrait attempt.

I needed to make a Thank You Teacher card for my 5 yr old's JK teacher and my card for today's hop uses the Paper Makeup Stamps Apple Additions and Little Moments Mini Sentiments sets - they were perfect!  Extra products used:  Bazzill cs, DMCV dp, Distress inks, Archiver's ink, u/k twine, DMC floss, SU button and border punch .

Whimsical Landscape

I recently took a super fun online art course called Whimsical Landscape Painting by Mechelle Harrison at Creative Workshops.

My finished canvas is 12 x 12, painted with acrylics and I just adore it! This class was so much fun and I definitely recommend you take it!

Here's another page in my journal. The poppies were hand drawn and then I used some watercolours, Shiva Oil Paintsticks, text transfer, Faber Castell journal pen, Archiver's ink and Magenta stamps.

Watercolor Doodle

Here's a page inspired by Christy Tomlinson's Creative Doodling 102 (week 2) of the She Had 3 Hearts Art Journal e-Course. This was my first attempt at Doodling and then I coloured in my doodles with watercolor pencils.
