Happy Monday everyone! Here's my take on this week's Unity Bachelor Bro challenge. We were challenged to use something shiny or glittery, one piece of patterend paper and two buttons. You can check out all of the details for the challenge at the Splitcoast forum here. I used my Unity August KOTM again and stamped on tin - a cool technique that my friend, mentor and teacher Deb showed me using a recycled pop can! I used a ton of stickles to add extra bling.

Unity Friday Friends with Flair
Happy Unity Friday Friends with Flair! This week I played with my Unity LeChic Vintage September kit and put together a layout with my two little girls who had a lovely visit with our family from Southern Ontario last weekend. Journalling reads: "It was so nice that Alexandra and Isabella could spend time with their Great Grampa Burda - September 20th, 2009". All products used are from the kit plus Bazzill cs, AC Thickers, staples and a CM Journal pen.
This was such a fantastic kit and I’m looking forward to creating some more layouts and seeing what is in store for us in October with the next kit. Happy Blogging ladies - I’m off to check out all of your blogs and leave some love! Have a great weekend!

My Life is Perfect
Here's a layout I finished up yesterday. I have been on a card kick lately so it felt good to get a layout done! Journalling reads: "I am a SAHM, who has been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband. I love being a wife and a mother. I have found my creative outlet through scrapbooking, cardmaking and various other artistic hobbies and continue to make new, wonderful friends daily through my hobbies. Yes, my life is perfect and I love it. I wouldn’t want it any other way! September 17, 2009"
Products used: Fancy Pants pp, stick pin, buttons, die cut shapes, BG pp, SU stamp and watercolour crayons, Handmade (yes I made it!) crochet flower, lace ribbon from my stash, dewdrops, kaiser pearls, Making Memories glitter glaze, DMC floss, AC Thickers, Daisey D's hinge, Fiskars Threading water punch, EK Success Notebook punch, Staz On Ink and My Little Shoe Box mini alpha stickers. This layout was inspired by this months Scraptivity technique on "Inchies".

Mojo Monday #103
Here's my card for the challenge over at Mojo Monday this week. I loved the sketch this week. I used a Lizzie Anne Designs stamp called All things grow better with love. This card came together pretty easy with the sketch. I coloured the image in with my copics, applied a bit of stickles and I used SU cardstock and ribbon. I also used my cuttlebug embossing folders and a new Spellbinders Impressabilities embossing die. I love how the card turned out - nice and cheery!

Happy Birthday Mom
Yesterday was my Mom's 70th birthday so here is the card I made for her. I doubled up on challenges this week for this card using Friday Sketcher's Sketch #69 and Just Magnolia's Week #22 -challenge on embossing. I coloured in Tilda on Neenah cs with my copics that I picked up at Magnolia Stamps. Isn't she adorable? I used my nestabilities to cut and emboss and my cuttelbug folders to emboss the background patterened papers. I also used some Prima flowers, Stickles, a Doodlebug sugar coated brad, u/k ribbon, some bling and a heart charm from Micheals and a Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies. I also used a SU oval and scalloped oval punch for the sentiment. I hope my Mom likes the card!

For my Happy Halloween sentiment, I used a SU punch and added some glimmer mist.

Unity Friday Friends with Flair
Today I finished two cards for the Unity Friday Friends with Flair over at the Unity Splitcoast Stampers Forum. For my first card I used the Unity stamp Plant a Tree and coloured it in with my copics. I used my nesties and then distressed and inked everything up a bit. In keeping with the "save a tree" theme from the stamp, I recycled some corrugated cardboard and cut out the brown scalloped border from a Unity stamp package to use on my card.
Unity Friday Friends with Flair
On my second card I used stamps from the Unity Following My Heart - August/09 KOTM and the Unity Hearts of Old background stamp. I coloured the image with my copics then applied Glossy Accents over the heart - LOVE that stuff! I used Memento and Colorbox Chalk Inks, Neenah and SU cs, Cuttlebug embossing folder, SU Sizzix Top Notch Biz Z die and MS punch. TFL.

Hang 10
Here's my take on this week's sketch over at Friday Sketchers. The extra challenge this week was to use a blue and orange combo. I used Surfer Ian from the Greeting Farm and a Hang 10 Amy R Beach Sentiment. I used my copics, cuttlebug embossing folder, twine, dewdrops and stickles.
Sweet Summer Days
Happy Haunting
I'm starting to get into the fall spirit with all of the cold weather we've been receiving. Here is a Halloween card featuring the C.C. Designs fall stamp set which will be available for purchase soon. I used my new Martha Stewart cobweb punch and added some real gauze to the background to mimic the Mummy.
